- There are two types:
- Anonymous card: anyone can use it.
- Personal card: has your name and photo. You can add discounts.
How to Use It:
- Put money on the card at a machine or online.
- When you travel, check in by holding the card against the card reader.
- When you leave, check out the same way.
- Always check in and out, or you pay too much.
OV-pay You can also check in and out on public transport using your bank card or mobile phone with OV-pay. If you dont have a student travel product, OV-pay is a cheap and easy way to travel.

Bikes
Biking is very popular in the Netherlands. Many people use a bike every day to go to school, work, or the shop. The country has special bike paths, so it is safe and easy to ride.
You can buy a bike or rent one. Some cities also have shared bikes you can use with an app. Always lock your bike when you park it.
It is important to follow the rules. Use lights at night and stop at red lights. Wear a helmet if you want, but it is not required.
Biking is cheap, healthy, and a great way to explore the city!
